Can Panasonic Smart Lock be installed to replace existing door locks?

Please measure the door thickness and the distance from the center of the lock to the door edge and take pictures (front and side view of the door lock) to the sales person or installation technician to decide whether it is suitable for installation.  Or send the information to Whatsapp: 6117-7235 for preliminary assessment within office hour.

Self-assessment and additional charges on installation of Panasonic Smart Lock for current door

  1. Door thickness 40-90mm
  2. Distance from the center of the lock to the door edge 60 or 70mm (If more than 70mm, likes 100 or 120mm, need to add front and rear steel plates around $600)
  3. Distance between the metal gate and the door minimum required 80mm
  4. The original size of slide faceplate is (L) 240mm x (W) 24mm, any other size will require around $200 surcharge

 

*If door lock area has metal surface, need to charge additional processing fee around $400.

*All the above additional charges are for reference only, subject to the quoted price of Shun Hing Installation technician.

Standard Installation and extra charge

Standard installation apply with wooden door only, $400 surcharge will apply with iron gate.  Other extra service charge will be collected by technician during on-site.

What should I do if the power supply is almost out of power?

If the power supply is about to run out, there will be voice and mobile phone application prompts. Please remove the lithium battery and charge it as soon as possible.

What should I do if I am outside the house and the battery is completely out of power?

The door can be opened with a spare mechanical key or use a USB port at the bottom of the lock body outside the door for emergency charging.

If smart lock is malfunction, but mechanical key is inside the house?

In an emergency, if the customer fails to provide the mechanical key and the technician can only unlock it by sabotage, an unlocking fee will be charged. In addition, the company will not be liable for any damage to the product.

In case of Wifi configuration failure?

Please check the Wifi password and ensure that the Wifi connected to the device is 2.4G spectrum, and it is recommended that the distance between the device, mobile phone, and router be within 1 meter.

What are the precautions for the laser void label on the packaging box?

For security reasons, the laser void label on the packaging box must be opened in front of the installation technican; if the customer tears the void label by himself/herself, the company will not be liable for any loss or damage to the product.
